Yelena comes to OTD from TetraGenetics, Inc, where she served as Vice President of Business Development.
In this role, Yelena led the business development and marketing activities, established and managed external alliances within the pharmaceutical industry as well as collaborations with leading academics.
Prior to joining TetraGenetics Yelena worked at Cornell University in Ithaca as a researcher where she also earned her doctorate degree in Immunology.
While at Cornell she pioneered the development of the TetraExpress™ platform that established itself as the premiere platform for discovery of therapeutic antibodies against membrane protein targets.
This technology is now being utilized by TetraGenetics, Inc to discover and develop new biologics for unmet medical need.
Combined Dr. Bisharyan has > 19 years of experience in basic research and biotechnology.
She obtained her BS and MS from Yerevan State University in Armenia and her PhD from Cornell University.
