Prior to joining NWQ Investment Management in 2013, Dr. Maramarco was a Managing Director and Portfolio Advisor for Nuveen Investments, where he advised clients and their consultants concerning portfolio strategy and performance.
He previously spent twenty-one years at Babson Capital Management (MassMutual Financial Group), where he was lead portfolio manager of their large cap value funds, director of research and analyst.
He began his career as an analyst in the trust division of Connecticut National Bank.
Dr. Maramarco earned his bachelor’s degree in English from Colby College, a PhD in English from the University of Chicago, and an MBA from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
He earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1988 and serves on the Editorial Board of the CFA Digest.
He holds the FINRA Series 7 and 66 registrations.
