Mr. Peter T.
Lyon is a Managing Director & Founder at HighTower Advisors LLC.
He joined the firm in September 2008 and has over 33 years of experience in the financial services industry and specializes in asset management and financial advising.
He is the President of the North Marin Networkers and a former member of the University of California, Berkeley Bear Backers board of directors.
Prior to joining HighTower, Mr. Lyon worked for Dean Witter and Morgan Stanley, where he was named Chairman of the Financial Advisors Council of Technology.
He attained Chairman’s Club status, a designation reserved for those advisors producing in the top one percent of the firm.
His designations included Senior Vice President, Wealth Advisor and Senior Institutional Consultant.
Mr. Lyon received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of California, Berkeley in 1982.
He completed finance and investment consulting coursework at the Wharton School of Business in 1994.
He is a Member of the Investment Management Consulting Association and is a Certified Investment Management Analyst.
He is also a Certified Wealth Strategist as well as an Accredited Investment Fiduciary and he holds the series 7, 63, 65 licenses.
