Mr. Mahoney was named President and Chief Operating Officer of the CooperNeff Group in May 2001.
He also serves as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of BNP Paribas Brokerage Services .
As COO, Mr. Mahoney is responsible for the overall management of CooperNeff Group's activities.
His goal is to streamline systems and bring its activities closer together.
Mr. Mahoney also plans to use CooperNeff's experience and capabilities to expand its relationship with other areas of BNP Paribas.
As CEO of BNPPBS Mr. Mahoney is responsible for the overall management of the broker-dealer.
Prior, in 1999, Mr. Mahoney was President of the broker-dealer and dedicated all his time to the management of this firm.
In 1994 he became a Partner of BNP CooperNeff Group, President of BNPPBS and CFO of CooperNeff Inc. due to his instrumental role in the BNP acquisition of Cooper Neff & Associates.
As CFO of BNP Cooper Neff, Inc., Mr. Mahoney oversaw all operations of the company.
His responsibilities included the financial management and reporting of the global options trading business.
Mr. Mahoney joined Cooper Neff & Associates, LP in 1988 as Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining Cooper Neff & Associates, Mr. Mahoney was the controller of Morlan International.
In the six years that Mr. Mahoney was there, Morlan International went from a relatively small company with approximately $13 million in revenues to become the second largest publicly-held cemetery management company in the industry with $40 million in revenues and over $100 million in trust.
Mr, Mahoney is a graduate of Temple University.
