Ms. Shoemaker joined PMFA in 1999, after working with a national financial company.
She was named as a finalist for Retirement Plan Advisor of the Year–2004.

Ms. Shoemaker holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Wayne State University where she graduated summa cum laude, and holds an MBA in finance.
She is an affiliate member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries.
