Profil
Mr. Steve Gruenig is Senior Vice President at FIG Partners LLC.
He has over 15 years of experience trading in the fixed income markets.
Prior to joining FIG, Mr. Gruenig was a Managing Director and Head of Interest Rate Trading at Regions Financial Capital Markets in Atlanta.
Previously, he was a Director in the Fixed Income division of Wachovia from 2005 to 2009, where he was responsible for Interest Rate Options Trading.
From 1996 to 2005, he held a number of trading positions at Societe Generale, Wachovia, First Union and Bank of America.
During this time, he developed his expertise in the bond markets by trading options at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
Before entering the field of Finance, he was a Commissioned Officer in the United States Army from 1989 to 1994 during which he served as a helicopter pilot in Desert Storm.
Mr. Gruenig received his MBA in Analytic Finance from the University of Chicago and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the United States Military Academy.
