Mr. Robert A. Sargent is a Managing Director at Newscape Capital Group Ltd.
He has responsibility for guiding the strategic direction of the Asset Management business as well as being a member of the investment committee.
With 25 years of financial services and investment management experience, he was previously the CEO of Lehman Brothers Asset Management Europe, Middle East, Africa & Asia as well as CEO of Morgan Stanley Asset Management Europe Middle East Africa, Asia & Australia.
and Head of Asset Management by Gulf International Bank.
He also worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager and Head of European Equities at Morgan Stanley and served as a member of the firm’s European Executive Committee.
Prior to joining Newscape, he was the CEO of Nemesis Asset Management LLP, a London and Monaco based multi-family office that was formed as a result of a team move following the Lehman Brothers insolvency.
Mr. Sargent is also a private investor in the renewable energy space private equity and sits on a number of charitable and corporate boards.
