PolarTech ApS is a holding company that offers both manual and automatic carbon dioxide (CO2) cleaning and surface preparation equipment. Its provides the snow or dry ice particle blasting technology, which is used for removing coatings like adhesives, varnish, oil, soot, mould release agents, and bitumen. The system is connected to liquid CO2 from either cylinders or larger tanks, and can produce its own dry ice particles during the cleaning process. Its products are used in automotive, medical device manufacturing, restoration, foundry and forging, and food processing and packaging applications. The company was founded by Jesper Holmgaard on February 11, 2011 and is headquartered in Esbjerg, Denmark.
