Mr. Holden was named chief operating officer of GenSpring Family Offices in November 2005.
Prior to Genspring, Mr. Holden was most recently Chief Operating Officer of JP Morgan Private Bank, an institution with more than $300 billion in client assets under supervision, where he was responsible for finance, operations, technology, client services and risk management for the global business.
He was previously Director of Global Wealth Management there.
A seasoned executive in the wealth management arena, he spent more than 12 years with The Chase Manhattan Private Bank, before Chase merged with JP Morgan in 2002.
During his years at Chase he held progressively more responsible positions, including serving as Chairman and President of The Chase Manhattan Bank of Florida and as US Market Manager at The Chase Manhattan Private Bank.
Mr. Holden serves on the Advisory Board of the Wolfsonian Museum at Florida International University (FIU).
He holds degrees from St. Lawrence University (B.A.) and Columbia University (MA and MPhil).
