Mr. Michael P.
de Santis, CFA, is Co-Managing Member at Hangar 4 Partners LLC.
He more than forty years of professional investment experience.
He began his investment career as an analyst responsible for the technology industry at Title Insurance & Trust Company in Los Angeles in the early 1970s.
Prior to that he worked in financial and corporate planning for Burroughs Corporation, a major computer company.
He later moved to the sell-side as an analyst with G.S.
Grumman & Associates, a leading research boutique based in Boston.
From 1979 to 1984, Mr. de Santis was a founding partner for Robertson, Stephens & Company, an investment banking firm specializing in technology.
He then became a Managing Director of Alex.
Brown & Sons and led the firm’s technology research effort before founding de Santis Capital Management LLC in 1990, a precursor firm to Hangar 4 Partners LLC.
He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds both B.A. and M.A. degrees in Economics from UCLA.
