Mr. Michael R.
Boyle, CFA, is a Senior Vice President of Asset Management at Advisors Asset Management, Inc. He has over 21 years experience as an Analyst and Portfolio Manager and joined the firm in June 2006.
He oversees the security selection and supervision for a number of the firm’s unit investment trusts and also serves as a Portfolio Manager for AAM’s separately managed accounts.
Mr. Boyle previously served as the Managing Director of Research & Development at Claymore Securities and as the Vice President of Equity Strategy Research at First Trust Portfolios.
He also served for over 11 years as an aviator in the U.S.
Navy and obtained the rank of Lieutenant Commander.
He earned an MS degree in Operations Research from the Naval Postgraduate School and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
