Profil
Miguel is the Managing Partner and Co-CIO of Altamar Private Equity.
He joined Altamar in 2013.
Miguel has over 20 years of deal making experience in Private Equity, focusing in Spain, Portugal and Latin America.
He has participated in numerous Private Equity investments in diverse sectors.
Prior to joining Altamar, Miguel was a partner at Mercapital, a leading investor in the Spanish middle market, where on top of leading numerous investments he was actively involved in its fundraising as well as in its expansion in Latin America.
Miguel has been a board member, Vice Chairman and Chairman of ASCRI, The Spanish Private Equity and Venture Capital Association from 2015 to 2020.
Miguel has an MBA with honors from INSEAD, a Law and Business degree from ICADE and has been Professor of Financial Management at ICADE and IEB.
