Kim, CFA MBA, is a Vice President & Head of Systematic Equity at MacKay Shields LLC.

Previously, Ms. Kim spent seven years as a quantitative Research Analyst in INVESCO’s Structured Products Group, where she was responsible for model development and portfolio construction of quantitative long/short market-neutral and long-only strategies.
She started her career as an Analyst at Chase Manhattan Bank in 1993, where she developed market risk models and managed risk policies and exposures for global equity and commodity products.
Ms. Kim earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in mathematics in three years, graduating summa cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.
She earned her MBA in financial engineering from the MIT Sloan School of Management and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation from the CFA Institute.
