Mark (Namyoung) Kim

Mark(Namyoung) is the head of Fund Operation at LG Technology Ventures.
He has over night-teen years of corporate strategy, technology strategy & planning and new business operation in LG Group.
As the head of fund operations, he manages the performance of over $400 million fund assets and establishment of new funds, and supports communications with LG affiliates(LPs) in order to maximize the investment performance of each fund.
Prior to joining LG Technology Ventures in May, 2021, he worked for various affiliates of LG Group.
At LG Science Park, he managed/supported LG Group’s open innovation as a team leader.
Prior to LG Science Park, he was dispatched to Energy TFT of LG Holdings to support energy-related business in LG Group.
In LG Fuel Cell Systems, which was a JV company with Rolls-Royce Group, he carried out business strategy and market development as a leadership member.
He also worked on technology strategy and PMO at LG Display.
He double majored in Industrial Engineering and Business Administration from Inha Univ and dropped out of KAIST MBA. He enjoys traveling with his wife and two kids, and enjoys outdoor activities such as soccer, basketball and golf.
