As Director of Research, Mr. Fitzsimmons follows the stock market and specific events affecting the companies held in client portfolios.
Utilizing sophisticated research tools and a consultative team approach with our investment counselors, Mr. Fitzsimmons recommends companies for client portfolios that are best positioned to produce increasing share prices for our clients.
Prior to joining Swan Associates in March 2000, Mr. Fitzsimmons was a Manager in the business valuation practice of Deloitte & Touche in Los Angeles and developed a particular expertise valuing companies in the technology area.
Prior to joining Deloitte & Touche, Mr. Fitzsimmons was with the Boston office of the investment management firm, Scudder, Stevens & Clark.
Mr. Fitzsimmons holds an MBA degree from Boston College and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
His affiliations include the American Society of Appraisers, the Association for Investment Management and Research, and the Los Angeles Society of Financial Analysts
