Mr. Marc A. Bataillon is Head of European Equities at Lombard Odier Asset Management (Europe) Ltd.
He joined Lombard Odier in 2010 to lead the European equity long-only and long short strategy.
Mr. Bataillon joined Lombard Odier from his previous firm Selectium where he generated a strong track record of attractive risk-adjusted returns over its 7 year history.
Previously he was at LBO France where he worked on mid market buy-outs.
Mr. Bataillon began his career as an entrepreneur, first serving as Chief Executive Officer of the image-processing software firm Symah Vision (1990-1993), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Lagardère group.
He next led the turnaround of the French subsidiary of International Data Group (1996-1999), the world's leading publisher of computer magazines and newspapers, and then went on to found Transactive Solutions Inc., a direct-marketing firm based in Boston, which he sold to Bertelsmann in 2000.
Mr. Bataillon graduated from the ESSEC business school in France in 1990 and then went on to Harvard Business School where he graduated with an MBA in 1994.
