Dr. Lee-Hwong originally began working with Hovan Capital Management in June of 2004 as an equity research consultant.
Prior to re-joining Hovan in 2008, she provided equity research as part of the healthcare team at Palo Alto Investors, evaluating investments in biotechnology, medical device and healthcare services.
She was involved in deploying investments in both the public and private equity space.
She has also had experience as biotechnology equity analyst at SAC Capital Advisors in New York; and has also worked in fixed income research covering high yield companies at JP Morgan in New York.
Dr. Lee-Hwong holds a M.D.
and B.A. from the Accelerated Medical Program at Boston University, 1993.
She has a M.S.M.
as a Sloan Fellow from the Graduate School of Business at Stanford University, 2003.
