Ms. Kristin K.
Pak is a Senior Portfolio Manager at AAFMAA Wealth Management & Trust LLC.
She is an investor with over 30 years of experience in the financial markets, including equity research, portfolio management, and investment banking roles, she assists the firm's CIO in setting investment strategies to manage model portfolios and investments for both clients and the company.
She effectively analyzes the micro, such as the investment potential of a company or security, but she also clearly understands the macro, such as economic drivers and in what stage of the economic cycle specific business models or investments thrive.
As a result, she constructs portfolios with balanced risks and exposures that can weather various macroeconomic cycles.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pak managed multiple billions of dollars in equity investments as a portfolio manager at Invesco and Oppenheimer Funds, and as an equity analyst at RS Investments and Guardian Life Insurance.
Additionally, she served as an equity research analyst at Goldman Sachs and as an investment banker at Merrill Lynch.
She earned her MBA from Harvard University and her BS in business administration from Indiana University.

AAFMAA Wealth Management & Trust LLC Investment ManagersFinance AWM&T’s investment process uses a combination of mutual funds and individual stocks and bonds when constructing a client’s portfolio. The firm uses actively managed mutual funds (where the managers seek to outperform an index through investment selection) whenever they feel that the management of that fund can deliver better risk-adjusted returns, net of taxes and fees, than a passive index approach could. They will use passive index funds to obtain their desired asset class exposure when they cannot find an appropriate active fund. | Analyst-Equity | 01/01/2023 |
