Wood is Senior Advisor at Silvercrest Asset Management Group LLC.
He joined Silvercrest as a Senior Advisor as a result of the merger with Jamison Eaton & Wood.
He began his investment career in 1960 with Scudder, Stevens & Clark in research and portfolio management roles.
In 1963 he purchased a membership on the New York Stock Exchange and conducted a specialized trading business before admission to the partnership of DeCoppet & Doremus (odd lot firm) in 1968.
Mr. Wood sold his NY Stock Exchange Seat in 1969 and joined Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette to assist in the management of Alliance Capital Management.
He managed a profit center in discretionary money management and was a Sr. Officer of Alliance Capital.
He also served as President of the firm’s international affiliate, Ivory & Sime International, Inc. from its founding until disposition in 1997.
Previous outside business board positions include V.
Chairman of ASA, Ltd. (South Africa), and Director of Ivory & Sime plc (Edinburgh, Scotland).
