Prior to joining Second Avenue Partners, Mr. Grinstein served as Executive Chairman for Wireless Services Corporation from 2001 to 2004.
He held senior management positions with Nextel International Inc. and Nextel Communications Inc., from 1996 to 2002.
These positions include the role of President and CEO of NLL, Vice Chairman and Senior Vice President of NCI.
Mr. Grinstein served as President of the ATG Division at McCaw Cellular and ATT Wireless from 1991 to 1996.
He served as Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary for Lin Broadcasting from 1990 to 1992.
From 1988 to 1990, Mr. Grinstein was Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for McCaw Cellular Communications.
Mr. Grinstein earned a BA from Yale University a JD magna cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center.
He is a member of State of Washington and New York Bar Associations.
He is a private pilot of land and sea aircraft.
Mr. Grinstein serves on the boards of Coinstar Inc., F5 Networks, Labor Ready and Madrona Venture Capital.
