Mr. Jonathon Mershimer, CFA MBA, is a Senior Analyst at Driehaus Capital Management LLC.
He is on the Emerging Markets Team with a focus on macro and financial research.
His in-depth macro research, idea generation and buy/sell recommendations are leveraged across all three of the strategies managed by the Driehaus Emerging Markets Team.
Additionally, specific to the Emerging Markets Opportunities strategy, Mr. Mershimer is responsible for structuring and executing directional, relative value and hedge trades across asset classes, including both local and external fixed income, currencies, and interest rates, and for providing depth of leadership to the portfolio management team.
Prior to joining Driehaus Capital Management in 2020, Mr. Mershimer worked as a portfolio manager for Dimensional Fund Advisors.
In advance of his time at Dimensional Fund Advisors, he worked as a credit trader for Susquehanna International Group.
He began his career in fixed income markets at Société Générale as an assistant trader in the special situations group.
He received a B.A. in Economics from Bucknell University in 2008 and completed his M.B.A. with a concentration in econometrics/statistics and analytic finance from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business in 2017.
Additionally, Mr. Mershimer is a CFA charterholder.
