Mr. Jean-Michel Staron joined Crédit Agricole Private Equity in February 2001 in the Expansion Capital team.
Graduated of the ESC Paris business school, he has more than 15 years' experience in private equity and 4 years in corporate finance.
In 1980, Mr. Jean-Michel Staron began his career as an Associate in a long-term credit institution and soon after joined the SDR Sud Est (a regional development company) where he created and developed the private equity activity.
In 1995 he joined COFIRALP (Compagnie Financière d'Investissement Rhône-Alpes) as Assistant Managing Director and managed a investment portfolio of FF 700 million.
From 1997 to 2001 he was a Senior Consultant in Corporate Finance, first as Head of Financial Engineering of the Crédit du Nord group and then as Senior Manager at Ernst & Young Corporate Finance in Lyon.
