Dr. Jean L.
Masson is a Managing Director at TD Asset Management, Inc. He joined TD Asset Management Inc. in 1997 and currently leads TDAM’s Quantitative Equity Team.
He is involved in the modeling, research and management of various quantitative strategies including Low Volatility Equities, Passive Equities, and Systematic Alpha Equities.
His areas of specialization included econometric methods, derivatives, and market microstructure.
Prior to joining TDAM, he spent 10 years teaching Finance and conducting research at the University of Ottawa and Washington University in St. Louis.
He received his undergraduate degree from Simon Fraser University, a graduate degree from Simon Fraser University, a graduate degree from the University of Rochester and a doctorate degree from the University of Rochester.
