Profil
Jean-Louis joined 3i in 1999 to develop a network of CEO’s, CFO’s, NXC’s and NXD’s specifically suited to private equity in France.
During these 9 years within 3i, he has been involved in more than 100 investments.
He is now in charge of the Business Leaders Network for France.
Jean-Louis is a regular lecturer on “Private Equity” in various circles, specifically on executives and non-executives issues.
He is an active member of the AFIC (French Private Equity Association) and has been the co-author of “LBO Practical Handbook”.
Prior to joining 3i Jean-Louis was Managing Director for overseas subsidiaries of the EMC Group.
The following 12 years were spent working on strategic consulting for companies and territorial development in Burgundy.
This last experience gave him a very diversified background and real proximity with a large variety of managements.
.Jean-Louis is a graduate from ESSEC (Business Administration) and the Institute of Political Sciences from Paris and has a History Degree from Sorbonne University.
He also spent also one postgraduate year at Cambridge University and his thesis was accepted for the M.Phil in development studies.
