Holly Pomraning is an associate with Foley & Lardner LLP where she represents management on a wide variety of employment issues.
She has defended employers against discrimination and harassment claims in front of administrative agencies like the EEOC, advised management on wage and hour compliance, and has worked on large scale employment class action disputes.
Additionally, Ms. Pomraning performs significant pro-bono and general litigation work.
She is a member of the firm's Labor & Employment and Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Practices.
Previously, Ms. Pomraning was an intern for Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court.
In addition, she was a student attorney for the Consumer Law Litigation Clinic at the University of Wisconsin – Economic Justice Institute prior to her graduation from law school.
Her work focused on the enforceability of mandatory arbitration, deceptive trade practices, debt collection and other claims under the Wisconsin Consumer Act.
Ms. Pomraning earned her law degree from the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., cum laude, 2008), where she was treasurer of the Law School Family Association.
She received her B.A.
in communication and theology (magna cum laude, 1997) from Boston College.
