Holger Heidrich has been Corporate Vice President and President of EAM and International Government Affairs for Advanced Medical Optics, Inc. since February 2007.
Previously, he was President of Europe, Africa and the Middle East Region for Advanced Medical Optics from December 2003 to July 2005 and served as President of Europe, Africa and the Asia Pacific Region.
Dr. Heidrich was Senior Vice President and the Head of the Surgical Business for Allergan from May 1998 to January 2002.
He was the Head of Central Europe Area and Managing Director for Allergan Germany/Austria from July 1996 to January 2002 and Director of the Contact Lens Care Division from 1990 to 1996.
From 1986 to 1989, Dr. Heidrich was Divisional Director of Pharmaceutical & Surgical for Pharm-Allergan GmbH.
He joined Allergan in 1985 as Marketing & Sales Director of Germany.
Dr. Heidrich held various sales and marketing positions at Montedison Pharmaceutical and Ciba Geigy.
He was an Assistant Professor of Economics for the University of Freiburg in Germany.
