Hang leads Corporate Strategy and oversees corporate ventures for HPE.
He works closely with the Board, CEO, CFO and Executive Team to shape corporate and business unit strategy aligned with rapidly evolving technology markets.
Prior to joining HPE, Hang was a Partner at Bain & Company, where he spent over 10 years helping technology companies tackle their toughest strategy and operational challenges.
Over that period, Hang developed a wide portfolio of expertise, ranging from strategy, to private equity, to operational effectiveness, and has experience across a number of technology industries, including telecommunications, enterprise software, and semiconductors.
Prior to Bain, Hang started his career at Microsoft in a variety of product management and development roles.
Hang received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BASc in Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo.
