Mr. Umetsu was Vice President of Engineering and Technical Operations for Cellular One LLC from September 1996 to April 2000.
Mr. Umetsu held various managerial positions for AT&T Wireless Services, Inc., McCaw Cellular Communications, Inc., including Vice President of Technical Coordination for the Los Angeles and Houston Regions and Vice President of Engineering.
He served as Executive Vice President of Operations for RAM Mobile Data.
He held various telecommunications positions for 24 years with Honolulu Cellular Telephone Co., PacTel Cellular, AT&T Advanced Mobile Phone Service, Northwestern Bell Phones and the United States Air Force.
Mr. Umetsu has over 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
He received a BA degree in Mathematics and Economics from Brown University.
