Dr. Geraldine Dany-Knedlik is a Research Associate at The German Institute for Economic Research.
She is in the Department of Macroeconomics and head of the global economic projections in the Department of Forecasting.
Her research projects include applied time-series econometrics, monetary policy, and the interactions between the real and financial economy.
She spent time at the International Monetary Fund and the European Central Bank.
After studying economics at the University of Nottingham, she joints the IWH Doctoral Program in Economics in 2012.
In 2018, she completed her dissertation with the title “The Great Recession and its effects on monetary policy: From policy transmission to target dynamics”.
