Fred van Efferink, Partner, is active in Dutch private equity and venture capital industry since 1978.
Fred has invested in over 22 companies and realized many trade sales and 3 IPOs.
He brings to Icos capital his experience of managing more than 20 firms and taking numerous firms public and his passion for technology ventures.
Fred is also chairman of the Investment Committee at Icos Capital.
He currently serves as Director on the Supervisory Board of HSB Cards & Card Systems BV, a security company in identification technology and Altuition (also informal investor).
He is also member of the board and member of the investment committee of an industry firm (Schillebree Investments BV).
Fred also serves as the Chairman of Supervisory Board for MeesPierson Private Plus fund, a private equity fund firm focused on non-technology venture capital opportunities in the Netherlands.
Fred graduated with MA in Economics from Erasmus University, Rotterdam where he was a frequent guest speaker on Financial Management as well.
