Fabian inherited an early love for understanding complex concepts and systems.
As the son of an engineer and a computer scientist, he loves getting his hands dirty and putting theories into practice.
Graduating top of his class, Fabian studied business administration and computer science at WHU and TU Munich.
He holds a degree in Technology Management from the CDTM in Munich and Columbia Business School in New York.
Starting his career advising technology companies at BCG and J.P.
Morgan, he also had a chapter at Munich-based growth fund Acton Capital.
Fabian has seen the highs and lows of building and running a venture business at lightning speed.
As employee #1, CMO and Head of Sales for Foodora, he co-led one of Europe's fastest venture scalings ever – from one employee (himself) to many hundreds in just a few months.
Fabian built the company's global sales and marketing teams from the ground up.
Joining HV in May 2018, one of Fabian's project highlights has been working with Limehome, the 2nd largest hospitality operator in Germany just two years after founding.
He has also worked with Lendis and Wind.
In his spare time, Fabian enjoys running and cycling throughout Munich's beautiful countryside, which doubles as training for his next triathlon.
