Prior to Silverwood, he was a venture partner in the digital/new media group at Prism Ventureworks.
From 1999 through 2006, he was a senior executive at digital media leader Avid Technology, Incserving as EVP for Corporate Development, Chief Legal Officer, and for one year, as Chief Financial Officer.
In 1991, he co-founded Molten Metal Technology, a pioneering; Boston based environmental technology company which commercialized MIT developed technology for recycling hazardous and radioactive waste.
From 1980 through 1991 he practiced corporate, venture capital and high tech law in the Boston offices of three major law firms, most recently at McDermott, Will and Emery.
Mr. Jacks received a Bachelor of Science and MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and its Sloan School of Management, and a J.D.
from Georgetown University Law Center.
