Ms. Lucien in Updata Capital’s Financial Technology practice, joined Updata as the firm’s first Analyst in its Reston, VA office in 1999.
From 2001 through 2003, she took a leave of absence to obtain her M.B.A, during which time she also interned with the Global Industrials & Services Group of Credit Suisse First Boston’s Investment Banking Division.
At Updata, she has advised on sell-side and buy-side M&A transactions for software and IT services firms including the acquisition of the Web Solutions and Acclara divisions of Info Technologies by MISI Company, the acquisition of Immediatech Corporation by Thomson Professional & Regulatory, Inc., and Borland’s acquisition of TeraQuest.
Prior to joining Updata, she was an Associate with Interpro Corporation, a strategic and M&A advisory firm serving middle-market IT companies.
In the two years that Erin was with Interpro, she worked closely with clients to create corporate strategic plans, raise private equity and execute M&A transactions .
Ms. Lucien began her career with BIA Financial Network as a Research Analyst for the broadcast and communications industry.
Erin received her MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business and her B.B.A. from James Madison University.
