Moquist is a President at Dakota Asset Management LLC.
Mr. Moquist started his career as an investment banker in the late 1990s.
The experience as an investment banker helped forge a vast knowledge of the capital requirements for public companies in the search for growth capital.
In the Fall of 2016, he decided to use his investment knowledge to launch Dakota Asset Management and continue to deliver the same expertise he has provided to institutional investors for over 20 years.
In 2003, he launched and built the Institutional Research, Sales and Trading division for Noble Capital Markets.
He was instrumental in assisting mutual funds, hedge funds and investment managers invest in small and micro cap companies.
In December 2011, he joined Maxim Group to open and manage their Florida office where he continued his focus on generating new investment ideas for institutional clients.
Mr. Moquist is a graduate of the University of North Dakota with a bachelors degree in financial management.
