Mr. Eric Sanschagrin is a Managing Director & Head of European Technology, Media and Telecommunications Investment Banking at Piper Jaffray Ltd. He joined Piper Jaffray in March 2009 to lead the firm's technology, media and telecommunications investment banking effort in Europe.
He has over 16 years of banking experience, including 12 years in TMT investment banking.
Prior to joining Piper Jaffray, he was at Citigroup for over 10 years, where he had progressed to become Managing Director and lead the firm's European technology investment banking team.
His broad experience spans public and private M&A, where he has advised on a large number of cross-border buy-side and sell-side transactions totaling $50 billion in aggregate value, as well IPOs, follow-on offerings and private placements raising in excess of $3.5 billion.
And his core sector specialisation includes communication technologies and the mobile Internet.
Mr. Sanschagrin holds a Master of Business Administration degree from INSEAD and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce with Joint Honours in Economics and Finance from McGill University.
