Prior to joining Oscar Gruss, he was Head of Risk Arbitrage at KCG, a risk arbitrage co-portfolio manager at Millennium Partners, Head of the North American Risk Arbitrage Desk at Credit Suisse, a senior member of Bear Stearns's buy-side/sell-side risk arbitrage desk, and a senior analyst on Deephaven Capital Management's event arbitrage team.
As a litigator, he worked at Weil, Gotshal, & Manges in Silicon Valley, Jenner & Block in Chicago, and Kasowitz, Benson, Torres & Friedman and Sullivan & Cromwell in New York.
Prior to that, he clerked for Judge Jan E.
DuBois of the U.S.
District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia.
He received his Bachelor's Degree in Economics, with High Honors, from the University of Michigan and a Juris Doctor, Cum Laude, from The University of Pennsylvania Law School.
