Mr. Brown joined Five Mile Capital in October 2004 after 12 years at Greenwich Capital Markets (GCM), most recently as a Vice President.
Over that time, he analyzed P & L’s and trading strategies, later he oversaw the International Operations of GCM’s European business and gained experience on the London trading desk.
In 2000, he became the Assistant to the Head of Fixed Income Trading in Europe and he spent another year in London.
He continued working with Mr. Poulson upon their return to the U.S.
in 2001, when Mr. Poulson was appointed Co-head of the Liquid Products Group.
During that time, he continued his fixed income markets research and developed trading skills on both a proprietary and customer market-making basis.
Mr. Brown holds an AB from Bowdoin College.
