Mr. Derek V.
Lygo is a Portfolio Manager at CCLA Investment Management Ltd.
He has experience of running a wide variety of equity funds from institutional pension funds to investment trusts, OEICS, charity funds and long/short equity.
His investment career started in 1984 as a Fund Manager with Mercury Asset Management and has included periods as the Director of European Fund Management at Dresdner RCM Global Investors, where he was awarded an AA rating with Standard & Poor's (S&P), and the Head of UK Equities at First State Investments.
He also worked at James Capel as a Member of the team advising the UK Government on the sale of the UK electricity industry in 1990.
Immediately prior to Aviva Investors, he was responsible for launching the first equity hedge fund at CQS LLP.
He joined Morley Fund Management's (now Aviva Investors) Sustainable & Responsible Investments (SRI) team in 2006.
Mr. Lygo holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Studies from South Bank Polytechnic.
