Tomkins is a Senior Investment Director at Arbuthnot Latham Co. Ltd.
He is responsible for replicating the success that he achieved previously in alternatives in areas including research, due diligence, allocating client capital and managing key client relationships.
He joined Arbuthnot Latham in 2011 from Arjent, where he co-founded the Alternative Investments Division.
After beginning his career in equities and fixed income in 2003, he went on to establish the alternative investments desk, building up its assets to over $100million.
His thematic and absolute return investment approach, combined with operational reviews of his counter-parties, allowed his clients’ portfolios to be protected throughout the investment cycle, generating positive returns during the bear market of 2008.
