Mr. Daniel Berner is a Head Securities at Swiss Life Asset Management AG.
Since 2004, he has been working in the asset management team at Swiss Life.
From 2007 to 2018, he was responsible for the Group's Proprietary Insurance Asset Management (PAM) business area in Switzerland.
From 2019 to June 2021, he was responsible for Switzerland, France and Germany as Head of PAM.
Since July 2021, he has been responsible as Head Securities for the securities business of Swiss Life Asset Managers.
He worked in the Fixed Income & Derivatives team at UBS for 12 years.
He spent most of this time in London, where his responsibilities included the Interest Derivatives area.
He then moved to WestLB in London in 2001, taking charge of the Group's Forward Foreign Exchange and Interest Derivatives area.
He studied economics at the University of Zurich.
