Dr. Claudia Kettner-Marx is a Senior Economist at Österreichisches Institut für Wirtschaftsforschung.
She has been working in the Research Group "Environment, Agriculture and Energy" since 2008.
Her key areas of research include EU and Austrian climate and energy policy (with a focus on the role of market-based instruments) and indicators for sustainable development.
Before that position, she worked as a researcher at the Wegener Center for Climate and Global Change at the University of Graz and as a freelance researcher at WIFO and Joanneum Research, Graz.
Dr. Claudia Kettner-Marx has led two ACRP-funded projects (CATs, ClEP) and a number of other national projects.
In addition, her professional experience includes participation in the EU Framework Programmes 6 and 7 projects TranSust.
Scan, PASHMINA, and WWWforEurope and in several national projects as well as lectureships at the University of Graz, the Danube University Krems, and the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies.
She holds a doctoral degree in Social and Economic Sciences from TU Wien, a Master's degree in Economics from the University of Graz, and a Master's degree in Renewable Energies from TU Wien.
