St. Augustine Orchestra, Inc. is a not-for-profit, semi-professional orchestra serving St. Augustine and surrounding areas since 1961. The non-profit company is based in St. Augustine, FL. The orchestra consists of over 50 volunteer musicians, ranging in age from 13 to 80, and is dedicated to expanding music awareness and appreciation by providing live performances, educational opportunities, and outreach programs for youth and seniors. Its season runs from September through May and includes concerts, educational outreach programs such as "Classical Conversations" for home-schooled students, and community events like the annual afternoon tea.
