Dr. Lipo is Assistant Professor at California State University in Long Beach.
He previously served as the Manager of IT Technical Services at Internap Network Services, Inc., was a co-founder of Allrecipes and worked as a senior developer for Seattle-based License.net.
His current research involves application of computer methods in the study of economic and social complex systems and the evolution of functional entities.
Dr. Lipo's technical experience spans over 20 years of managing 24/7 IT database & systems operations, infrastructure development for real-time e-commerce, database administration, and systems integration.
Dr. Lipo holds a B.S.
with Distinction in Anthropology from the University of Wisconsin, Madison, an M.A. in Anthropology from the University of Washington and a Ph.D.
in Anthropology, University of Washington, Seattle.
