Mr. Everitt serves as the company's senior equity portfolio manager and brings considerable expertise in investments and has received national recognition in his field.
He began his career at Motorola in the Communications Division where he gained seven years of industry experience.
As an industry analyst with Duff and Phelps, Mr. Everitt spent approximately 50% of his time as a consultant preparing independent analyses for acquisitions, mergers, valuations and financings.
A founder and Executive Vice President of G.S.
Grumman & Associates, he helped develop the company into a nationally recognized firm specializing in institutional research in fields of high technology with over one hundred of the leading banks and advisory firms as clients.
Mr. Everitt continued these same duties as Director of Research with Cowen & Company upon its merger with G.S.
Grumman.
He was Chairman and founder of Granahan-Everitt Investments and President of Nova Fund.
A Chartered Financial Analyst and member of the Boston Security Analysts Society, Mr. Everitt holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Harvard Graduate School of Business Administration where he attended under a Westinghouse Fellowship.
Mr. Everitt chaired the Endowment Investment Committee for the Massachusetts 4-H Foundation for twelve years.
He has also served as a Director of both Semicon, Inc. and Omni-Spectra, Inc. and as a Member, University of Illinois Engineering Advisory Committee.
Mr. Everitt was named in “Institutional Investor” magazine for six consecutive years among the top three electronic analysts for its All American Research Team.
The honor was conferred by polling leading analysts and fund managers nationwide.
