Ms. Izzo has over 15 years experience working with management and analysts in the life sciences industry as Senior Vice President of Jesup & Lamont Securities Corp.
and, most recently, at McGinn, Smith & Co., Inc. She has originated over $120 million in financings for both private and public companies and provided support through institutional sales.
Prior to those efforts, Ms. Izzo co-founded and managed two securities broker-dealers.
Ms. Izzo has focused on biotech, specialty pharmaceutical and medical device companies with market capitalizations of $100 million or less, particularly those that have been orphaned by other investment banks.
Flexibility being critical in this sector, she has participated in the full range of financings: PIPEs, secondaries, registered directs, roll-ups, reverse mergers, SPACs and M&A. Representative companies include Collagenex (acquired), Bioenvision (acquired) Nastech Pharmaceuticals (now MDRNA) and Diabetica Solutions.
Although Ms. Izzo has mainly worked with companies in the US and Great Britain, she has also been involved with management in the emerging biotech industry in China.

degree in Finance and Statistics from New York University’s Stern School of Business, magna cum laude
