Mr. Andreas B. Nielsen is a Portfolio Manager at Fondsmæglerselskab Petersen & Partners Investment Mgmt A/S.
He has more than 15 years of experience with a broad range of skills centered around listed equities, including stock picking, portfolio construction and manager selection.
He joined the firm in August 2017, where his role includes identifying new investment opportunities as well as portfolio construction to include solid investment cases benefitting from of the world’s transition towards sustainability and the significant growth in demand for sustainable products and services.
Mr. Nielsen was previously employed as a Portfolio Manager by MP Investment Management A/S, Pensionskassen for magistre og psykologer and Unipension Investment Management, where he worked for over 10 years.
At Unipension, he was responsible for selecting public equities for the Climate Delta portfolio, a global portfolio specifically focused on financial impact within climate change.
Mr. Nielsen also led numerous search processes for new external managers for both global, regional, and country specific mandates.
Prior to the formation of Unipension, he gained experience and insight by managing private equity portfolios as well as a portfolio of domestic public equities.
Mr. Nielsen holds a Master of Science in Finance (MSc) from Copenhagen Business School.
