Mr. Nichols is a Co-Founder & Partner of Blue Horizon Equity LLC.
Prior to co-founding Blue Horizon Equity in 2007, Mr. Nichols was an Operating Partner at Golden Gate Capital, a $9 billion middle-market investment firm.
Prior to Golden Gate Capital, he held senior management roles in two highly successful business turnaround situations.
From 1993 to 1999, Mr. Nichols was an Executive Vice President and CFO of Chronicle Publishing, a diversified media company engaged in various television, publishing and Internet businesses.
In addition, he previously served as an investment banker at Salomon Brothers and CSFB.
Mr. Nichols holds a BA from Stanford University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
