AB SKF est spécialisé dans la fabrication et la commercialisation de roulements, de joints et de systèmes de lubrification. L'activité du groupe s'organise autour de 2 pôles : - vente de roulements et de joints : roulements à rouleaux sphériques et cylindriques, roulements à billes de contact angulaire, roulements à billes de cannelure profonde moyenne et roulements de précision élevée, et de joints destinés essentiellement aux fabricants de voitures et de camions. En parallèle, le groupe fabrique des systèmes de lubrification et des rails permettant des mouvements linéaires ; - prestations de services : notamment prestations de support technique, d'entretien et de formation. Le CA par marché se ventile entre industrie (71,6%) et automobile (28,4%). La répartition géographique du CA est la suivante : Suède (2,4%), Europe (38,7%), Amériques (29,3%), Chine et Asie du Nord-Est (19,1%), Inde et Asie du Sud-Est (10,5%).
