Mr. Ayers received his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts degrees in Economics from the University of South Carolina.
He holds the Certified Fund Specialist (CFS) designation, is a Certified Financial Planner Certificant, and is an active member in the Charlotte Economics Club.
He is a volunteer soccer coach for Charlotte United Football Club and also volunteers with the National Kidney Foundation.
