Mr. Ryan E.
Barry is a Managing Director at Diversified Global Asset Management Corp.
He is a member of the portfolio management team responsible for all aspects of research, due diligence, manager selection, monitoring, new investment identification, and portfolio construction methodologies for external hedge fund investments, as well as co-investment opportunities.
He is also a member of the Investment Committee.
Mr. Barry was previously the firm's Vice President and General Counsel.
Prior to joining the firm in 2006, he worked at Torys LLP, a Toronto and New York based Law firm where he practised corporate law, primarily focusing on energy and financial institutions.
While with Torys, Mr. Barry was also seconded to Ontario's Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO), where he was involved in a broad range of legal, regulatory and commercial aspects of Ontario's power markets.
He received his BA degree from Queen's University and his Bachelor of Laws and Master of Finance degrees from the University of Toronto.
